Dragonfly
Has God ever used something unusual to speak to you during a dark season of your life? For me, it was the dragonfly. Ever since that time, I seem to have encounters with dragonflies at the most interesting moments and it always boosts my faith and hope. Today, during a fair in South Dakota, Bill and I were conversing about beautiful things when this little dragonfly decided to land on his shirt. AND I just happened to be wearing my new dragonfly earrings for the first time. Thank You, Lord, for happy reminders of Your presence and love that always surrounds us. May everyone who reads this begin to have encounters of this sort that bring them closer to Jesus.

Hi Traci, I encountered your blog through your husbands website,and I was privileged to receive a message from him in reference to my lost ipod! I think it's truly amazing how things happen sometimes. Not only am I thankful to you all for finding me and sending me my ipod, but I KNOW that all this happened for a reason! I've always been strong in my faith, but lately I've sadly, fallen away some. I have been hoping to find my way back for some time now and after reading ya'lls story and mission in your blogs, I really feel like God is talking to me through this experience. Your blog is truly inspiring and gives me hope, not only in love, but in my relationship with Jesus.
I choose this entry in particular to respond to because like you, I have a special way of knowing God is talking to me, and that is through hummingbirds. Without fail, everytime I feel as if i'm losing hope and faith,I see a hummingbird. So after reading this, I just knew that I had to let you know the impact you and your family have already made on me. I guess I'm lucky that ipod was stolen :) God Bless
