Pastor Appreciation Month

October is Clergy Appreciation Month!! Don't forget to let your ministers know that you really appreciate them. Pastors face many heavy, challenging situations behind closed doors. Your prayers are vital to those on the front lines. The battle is real even though you cannot see it with your eyes.

The Lord commands us to pray for those in authority over us and to speak honorably of them. Honor is more than a medal. It is where we celebrate who a person is.....not who they aren't. Celebrate what God is doing in them and the good that God has put in them. In doing so, you honor them, and God will bring blessing and give you the ability to be part of the answer for things that are undone. Speak life!!!!! There is enough death going around and God's people should not be adding to it. Be part of the solution. (quietly steps away from the podium.......) : )

Pastors and their wives have been on my heart this week. (In fact, I'm planning to honor you/them in a blog post soon!) I'm glad you brought this up. It's a challenging job for both spouses, and prayer is essential! Blessings, e-Mom
